Updated 8 August 2026 · beta
The short version. Daycut is an early beta run by one small team. Use it with your own music account, be decent to the people in your feed, and know that things may break while we build.
Daycut reads the listening history of the music service you connect and turns it into a daily drop for your mutual friends. Daycut does not stream, host or sell music: playback always happens in your own service, and previews come from public catalogue APIs.
Your drops stay yours. By publishing one you allow us to show it to the friends and followers you chose — nothing more. Track names, artwork and previews belong to their rights holders; Daycut only displays them.
The service is provided as is. Drops may be late, a service may change its API without warning, and data may be lost while we are in beta. We do not promise uninterrupted service and are not liable for indirect damages. Keep anything you truly care about in your own music service.
Daycut is free during the beta. If paid features appear later, the core stays free: your stats, your privacy controls and your drop. Any advertising will be silent cards in the feed, never audio.
You can delete your account at any time and everything goes with it. We may suspend accounts that break these terms, and we can end the beta itself — with notice where we can give it.
If these terms change materially, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
