For artists and labels
A release lands in the feed the way a friend's cut does.
Daycut runs one kind of promotion: a release card. An album, a single, an EP, an artist page. It sits between friends' cuts, marked as promoted, at most one card per five cuts. No audio ads. Nothing inside anyone's cut.
We also take other legal promotion: shows, merch, music apps. Nothing that needs an age check, nothing that hides what it is.

Questions
Do my friends need the same music app?
No. One of you can be on Spotify, another on Apple Music, a third on Yandex Music. Each connects their own, and everyone lands in one feed.
Is it live, like Spotify's Listening Activity?
No. You get one cut a day: up to 10 tracks you played before the moment hit. Friends see the day, and you choose whether to send it.
Can I see friends' cuts without sending mine?
No. Their cuts open when yours does.
What if today's listening is embarrassing?
Skip the day. A cut you did not send stays invisible, and skipping costs nothing.
